Frequently Asked Questions
If you have any additional questions, please ask. I will post an answer that hopefully helps the next person with the same inquiry.

1. Do you accept insurance?
-
There are separate factors at play in the practice of Men's Health. Namely, the indications that insurance companies reimburse for in this specialty are quite narrow even though many patients really need, and benefit from, the services. Additionally, in this direct care model, costs can be contained and care can remain affordable when a practice does not have to maintain the overhead associated with management of insurance coding, billing and reimbursements. We will provide invoices for services for you to submit for reimbursement through your insurance or HSA/FSA plans. Additionally, we accept payment via HSA/FSA debit cards.
-
The labs that we order will be sent to Quest Diagnostics via our secure portal with them and results will be available to the patient and provider at the same time. Unless advised otherwise, Quest Diagnostics will process these through your insurance.
2. Do I have to be seen in person?
-
Telemedicine has improved access for millions of people to high quality care. On your intake phone conversation, we will discuss goals of care and establish a date and time for our Initial Consultation. These services can be available to you from the comfort of your home or office. Health care is performed better in person, no doubt, but it is still in line with the goals of good care to meet patients where they are, literally and figuratively.
3. Do you offer discounts?
-
There are benefits to committing to 3-month and 6-month treatment plans. There is a 5% discount for 3-month commitments and 10% discount for 6-month commitments. There is an additional 5% discount for teachers, emergency responders and active and previous military personnel.
